A total of 868 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours, but no deaths were reported from the disease during the period, according to a regular report of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among those admitted in the past 24 hours, 316 were in Dhaka division, 38 in Mymensingh division, 109 in Chittagong division, 205 in Khulna division, 17 in Rangpur division, 73 in Rajshahi division and 110 in Barisal division.
A total of 32,248 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country so far this year. Of them, 88 have died and 30,077 have recovered after receiving treatment and been discharged from hospitals.
Currently, 2,083 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.
