Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated a doctors’ rally marking the 37th founding anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) at the LD Hall of the national parliament on Saturday morning.
Before the event, the prime minister planted a neem sapling on the national parliament premises. His wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, also planted a sapling.
The program began with the national anthem and the hoisting of the BNP flag. Before the rally, the prime minister released 2 pigeons.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir; Dr Zubaida Rahman; DAB President Prof Dr Harun Al Rashid and DAB Secretary General Prof Dr Md Zahirul Islam Shakil, among others, were present.
