Bangladesh reported 113 new dengue cases and one death in the 24 hours leading up to Tuesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the latest figures, the total number of dengue infections recorded since January has climbed to 4,412, while the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease has reached seven.
The data was released in a dengue situation report issued on Tuesday by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the DGHS.
The report also said that 269 dengue patients are currently receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
