Four children died from suspected measles in 24 hours till 8am Saturday, raising the total death toll from the ongoing outbreak to 235 since March 15.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 1,024 new suspected measles cases were reported across the country during the same period.
A total of 72 confirmed measles patients were admitted to hospitals in the last 24 hours.
Since March 15, a total of 26,911 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals, of whom 23,225 have recovered and been discharged.
