Four children died of measles-like symptoms in 24 hours till 8am on Saturday, according to thr daily bulletin issued by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the deaths, two were reported in Dhaka Division.
During the same period, 982 new suspected measles cases were recorded, while 86 cases were confirmed.
The bulletin said a total of 14,522 suspected measles patients have so far been admitted to hospitals, while 11,751 patients have been discharged after treatment.
DGHS data further showed that since March 15, a total of 35 people has died from measles, while 178 others have died with symptoms consistent with the disease.
