One more individual has died of Covid-19 in Bangladesh in 24 hours till Sunday morning, raising this year’s total death toll to four.
This brings the country’s total Covid-19 death toll to 29,503.
The information was confirmed in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday.
During this time, 26 new Covid-19 cases were detected, it added.
With the latest figure, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 2,051,833.
Meanwhile, four individuals have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 2,019,405.
