Two people have died from dengue fever, between Tuesday morning and the following 24 hours.
During this period, 31 people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue.
This information was provided in a press release from the Health and Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday.
According to the release, among the newly infected individuals, 16 have been admitted to various hospitals in Dhaka, and 15 others have been admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka.
So far this year, 7 people have died from dengue, 85.7% of whom are men and 14.3% women.
According to the release, from January 1 to Tuesday of this year, a total of 700 people have been affected by dengue, with 60.4% men and 39.6% women.
