To ensure the smooth vaccination program in the country, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has formed a 5-member Covid-19 Vaccine Emergency Response Team-2021.
A notice has been issued regarding the matter by the Health Services Division on Monday.
The team will be led by Nilufer Nazneen, joint secretary (Public Health) of the Health Services Division, at the helm.
Earlier, the Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services announced that the vaccine program in Bangladesh will commence from the first week of February.
The DGHS also said that the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine that is being brought from Serum Institute of India is expected to arrive between January 21 to 25.
