Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) Managing Director Debasis Chakrabarty passed away from Covid-19 infection.
He took his last breath at Evercare Hospital at 9: 45pm on Monday, a high official of BHBFC confirmed.
Debasis held the BHBFC MD post since January 1, 2017. Prior to that, he was the deputy managing director (DMD) of Rupali Bank.
He joined BHBFC in 1995 as an assistant general manager (AGM) and worked at the loan department, accounts & finance, IT, audit department, and recovery departments and also headed zones of Dhaka Division.
