He was undergoing treatment at Labaid Hospital
The joint secretary to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Khurshid Alam, died from coronavirus at a hospital in the capital early Saturday.
Alam breathed his last around 12:50 am at Labaid Hospital where he was undergoing treatment, according to a condolence message of Officer’s Club, Dhaka, reports UNB.
He was a member of the BCS 86-Batch Administration Cadre, the message further notified.
“We pray for the salvation of the departed soul and convey our deep sympathy to the bereaved family members,”the message said.
