SC lawyer dies from Covid-19

The eminent lawyer was 64 years old and was undergoing treatment at Asgar Ali Hospital

Supreme Court lawyer and human rights activist advocate Mohammad Idrisur Rahman died from Covid-19. 

The eminent lawyer was 64 years old and was undergoing treatment at Asgar Ali Hospital. He passed away at 4am Wednesday.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued a condolence message. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain expressed deep shock at the death of Idrisur.

The chief justice prayed for the eternal peace of his soul and expressed deep sympathy for his bereaved family.

Barrister Humayun Kabir Pallob, a junior of Idrisur Rahman told, he was a patient with respiratory problems, and was diagnosed with Covid-19 recently.

Idrisur is left behind by his wife, son, daughter and a host of admirers to mourn his death.

He was laid to rest at his family graveyard in Bangora village under Muradnagar upazila in Comilla, said Pallob.
