Awami League Publication and Publicity Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam Amin has tested positive for Covid-19.
The senior ruling party leader himself confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Monday night.
Aminul said: “I had a cough for the past few days. Then I decided to get my samples tested for the deadly virus.
“The test result came today [Monday], showing that I have been infected with coronavirus.”
“My condition is now stable and I am spending the time at home in isolation,” he added.’
