Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq has recovered from Covid-19.
He has returned to his residence in Dhaka from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), confirmed the minister's niece Rina Parveen, also the Gazipur Sadar Upazila Parishad (UP) chairman.
His wife Laila Arjumand Banu is still undergoing treatment at the hospital and was given plasma therapy.
On June 12, the minister and his wife were initially undergoing treatment at home as per the doctor's advice after testing Covid-19 positive .
On June 14, they were admitted to CMH for better treatment.
