Smarttech IT Solution Ltd has developed an innovative healthcare app to provide healthcare support at home to the people of Bangladesh.
The app, TeloCure, will be launched in several phases over the next five years to build a centralized healthcare service for the whole country, said a statement on Friday.
Using the TeloCure app from a phone or tablet, patients and doctors across Bangladesh will be able to see each other in a matter of minutes.
The app has some key functionalities like pulse rate, respiratory rate, and temperature check so a doctor can accurately do a diagnosis with the app.
The developers of the app created a streamlined process where all patients will need to register in the TeloCure app to receive care from board-certified doctors.
The doctors will also go through a rigorous background check before conducting any treatment so a patient can receive the best service.
The CEO of Smarttech said: "The goal is to bring universal healthcare service to Bangladesh on our platform at an affordable price where the masses will be able to access healthcare using our network of doctors. We hope to bring standard pricing of healthcare with the government's help and to bring efficiency to hospitals across the country."
The app will provide all types of services from buying medicines to receiving expert opinions in case of an emergency, with just the press of a button.
The developers are trying to develop a package for a patient to obtain all kinds of healthcare services under one roof through the TeloCure app.
