Police Headquarters has asked the people not to interfere with or create obstacles for funeral procedures for those who have died or are suspected to have died from Covid-19.
In a video message on Saturday, Police Headquarters spokesperson Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Sohel Rana said police had recently faced some hurdles while carrying out funeral procedures.
People in various districts have attempted to stop the burial of people who are either suspected or confirmed to have died from Covid-19, the AIG added.
