Bangladesh is breaking all its previous records of daily coronavirus infections since Saturday, which can be attributed to the government’s initiative for increasing the sample testing.
The number of new infections reported was only 58 on Saturday, which mounted up to 139 cases on Sunday, with a 140% jump in new cases. On Monday, 182 new cases were reported, a 31% jump from the previous day, but a 214% jump from Saturday.
As the government continues to conduct more tests every day, it is expected that the total cases will cross the 1,000 mark by tomorrow, if not today.
