A Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) mobile court fined 50 people for violating the government’s directives concerning coronavirus, on Tuesday.
The fines were imposed for violating stay-at-home and social distancing measures imposed by the government in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The mobile court fined them Tk47,300 for violating the instructions.
RAB (legal and media wing) Assistant Director Sujoy Sarker confirming the matter said the mobile court conducted drives in Dhaka’s Mirpur, Rupnagar, Vatara, Rampura and Moghbazar areas, and fined people.
