The government has promoted 59 assistant superintendents of police (ASPs) to the rank of additional superintendents of police (Add SPs), the Home Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The ministry’s public security division issued separate notifications naming the officers adding they would enjoy the 6th grade of the national pay scale with their promotions.
