Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed, appeared at a press conference on Tuesday to respond to questions from journalists regarding the proposed budget for the new fiscal year.
The press conference began at 3pm at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium.
Also present at the event were Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury; Planning Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud; Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Adviser Fouzul Kabir Khan; Finance Secretary Khairuzzaman Mozumder; Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid; and Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Ahsan H Mansur, among others.
Earlier, on Monday, Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed presented the proposed budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, amounting to Tk7,89,999 crore, in a televised speech on Monday.
