The National Board of Revenue (NBR) paid tribute to the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising.
Family members of 826 martyrs will not be required to provide a "PSR (Proof of Submission of Return)" when purchasing savings certificates with government assistance funds.
On Sunday, the NBR issued a notification in this regard.
It highlighted that, under Section 264(4) of the Income Tax Act, 2023, the 826 family members of the martyrs of the July Uprising are exempted from submitting proof of filing an income tax return when purchasing savings certificates with the provided assistance.
