On Thursday, a public announcement revealed the formation of a ‘Special Cell on the Mass Uprising’ under the Health Services Division.
The cell has been established to preserve the history of the July-August mass uprising, finalize the comprehensive list of martyrs and injured individuals, provide medical treatment to the injured, and assist their families.
In line with the decisions of the advisory council, the Special Cell has initiated efforts to collect and preserve the glorious history of the mass uprising.
This includes gathering photographs, video footage, statements, and articles or reports published in print and electronic media related to the uprising.
The announcement called on citizens to submit photographs, video footage, and other documents of incidents that occurred between July 16 and August 5 during the uprising.
Members of the public who have photographs, video footage, documentaries, or other critical information related to the mass uprising are requested to upload them to the Special Cell's Google Drive ([email protected]) by February 15.
Alternatively, these materials (photographs, video footage, and documentaries) can be submitted via pen drive or directly handed over to the office of the Special Cell on Mass Uprising (2nd Floor, Building No. 2, BSL Office Complex, Hotel InterContinental, 1 Minto Road, Dhaka-1000) within the stipulated time frame.
