Additional Inspector General of Police Md Atiqul Islam, Deputy Inspector General (Addl IGP - Supernumerary) Md Anwar Hossain and Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman (of DIG rank) have been sent into retirement.
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued separate notifications on Wednesday in this regard.
According to the notifications, they were sent into retirement in the public interest under Section 45 of the Government Service Act, 2018.
