The government is planning to provide jobs to survivors and family members of the Chawkbazar fire victims, said Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed.
He made the disclosure after visiting injured victims at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.
"We have been providing compensation to the families of victims. We are also considering whether we can provide jobs to the injured and members of the victims' families," he said.

A total of 69 people were killed and scores of others injured after a fire broke out at a chemical warehouse and spread through several nearby buildings on Nanda Kumar Lane in Chawkbazar’s Churihatta area of Old Dhaka on the night of February 20.
