The government has promoted 256 senior assistant secretaries to deputy secretaries and 574 assistant professors to associate professors.
The Public Administration Ministry and Education Ministry have issued separate notifications in this regard, reports the UNB.
Those promoted in the civil administration are currently posted in different districts as additional deputy commissioners and in different ministries and organizations.
