President Abdul Hamid has reached China on Friday to attend 'dialogue on strengthening connectivity partnership' at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
A regular flight of Singapore Airlines carrying the President landed at Beijing International Airport at 2.40pm (China local time).
On his arrival at the airport, the president was received by ambassador of Bangladesh to China M Fazlul Karim and protocol ambassador of China Chi Shi.
Later, the president was taken to Diaoyutai State Guest House where he will stay during the tour.
Earlier, the president left Dhaka for Beijing at 11.55 pm (Bangladesh local time) on Thursday.
During the visit, the president is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Myanmar President Thein Sein.
On November 11, the president will go to Singapore from China for medical treatment on his way back to Bangladesh.
