Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on BNP Acting Secretary General and Standing Committee member Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday.
The meeting was held at 11am at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
The ambassador greeted Rizvi with flowers before the two held cordial discussions on various issues, including strengthening political and friendly relations between Bangladesh and China.
They also expressed hope that ongoing development activities in both countries would gain further momentum.
Liu Yuyin, deputy chief of mission at the Chinese Embassy; Ling Shuan, political attaché; and Rizvi’s PS Kazi Nazrul Islam and APS Jahedul Alam were also present at the meeting.
