Visiting US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting began at 9:30am at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon, said PM's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
Further details of the meeting, including the issues discussed, will be shared later, he added.
The US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia arrived in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon on a three-day visit.
During his visit, Sergio met Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman on Thursday evening and visited the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar on Friday.
