The Russian House in Dhaka participated in Vasha Mela 2026, a two-day exhibition held on February 22–23 at the International Mother Language Institute, in observance of International Mother Language Day.
The event brought together a wide array of educational and cultural organizations dedicated to promoting multilingualism, intercultural dialogue, and the preservation of linguistic heritage worldwide.
Students, teachers, and language enthusiasts from various institutions attended the fair to explore diverse languages and cultures.
At its stall, the Russian House offered insights into Russian language, culture, and literature, as well as educational opportunities and international humanitarian programs available for Bangladeshi students. Presentations on Russian history, classical and contemporary literature, and ongoing cultural initiatives drew significant interest from visitors.
Representatives engaged actively with attendees, responding to queries about studying in Russia and participating in cultural exchange programs. Informational materials, coupled with interactive discussions, created a vibrant and engaging learning environment throughout the exhibition.
