US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday, congratulated BNP, its Chairman Tarique Rahman, and the people of Bangladesh, following BNP's landslide victory in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

Rubio posted the message on social media platform X, saying, “Congratulations to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), party leader Tarique Rahman, and the people of Bangladesh.”
Highlighting the importance of bilateral relations with the new government, he added that the US look forward to working together with Bangladesh’s newly elected government to strengthen regional prosperity, stability, and security.
