Bangladesh has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli military's attack on Al-Tabeen School in Eastern Gaza on Saturday, which resulted in the deaths of over a hundred civilians and numerous injuries.
The Bangladeshi government has labeled the assault as a severe breach of international law and human rights, reflecting Israel’s apparent disregard for ongoing peace efforts and international initiatives aimed at halting violence in Gaza.
In a statement, Bangladesh called upon the international community to hold those responsible for this atrocity accountable.
The government urged the United Nations and other global organizations to take decisive action to enforce a permanent ceasefire and ensure the continuous flow of humanitarian aid to Palestine.
Bangladesh reaffirmed its solidarity with the Palestinian people and vowed to persist in advocating for their rights until an independent and sovereign State of Palestine is established with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The country also continues to support Palestine's recognition as a full Member of the United Nations.
