Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has sought meeting with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The prime minister will leave Dhaka for Germany on Thursday to attend the conference.
Replying to a question, Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Wednesday said that the meeting request came from the Ukraine side and the prime minister accepted the meeting.
He said there would be no impact with the relations with Russia following the meeting.
He said the prime minister would reiterate her call to stop war.
Russia and Ukraine are at war for more than two years.
Bangladesh maintains strong bilateral relations with Moscow.
The government did not tilt to any side despite western pressure following the foreign policy of friendship to all, malice towards none.
