The US-Bangladesh Business Council Board of Directors Chair Steven Kobos and President of the US-Bangladesh Business Council Ambassador (retd) Atul Keshap have congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as prime minister of Bangladesh.
In a greeting letter sent to the Bangladesh premier, Kobos, also president and CEO of Accelerate Energy, and Keshap, also senior vice president at the South Asia-US Chamber of Commerce, wrote: "On behalf of the US-Bangladesh Business Council, we extend our congratulations and warmest wishes on your reelection."
They praised Sheikh Hasina's efforts in leading the country to achieve the vision of Sonar Bangla dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
They said Bangladesh stands proudly on the world stage as a model of human-centric development, an example of what can be achieved when the talent and entrepreneurship of a great nation's citizens are amplified and empowered by policies that enable, encourage and unlock economic growth.
Both said the US-Bangladesh Business Council and the US private sector look forward to continuing their steadfast collaboration with the Bangladesh government and people to carry the momentum forward as thoughtful partners through constructive consultations and engagements.
They welcomed the opportunity to contribute to the incredible growth story of Smart Bangladesh and advance the partnership between the Bangladeshi and American people.
