Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the premier.
"I am sure that the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh, based on the principles of friendship, mutual trust and respect, will continue to develop consistently for the benefit of our peoples with our joint efforts," read a letter sent to Sheikh Hasina by the Uzbek president.
He also wished good health, happiness and great success in Sheikh Hasina's important role, as well as for the people of Bangladesh, peace, continued development and prosperity.
