A high-level delegation of Bangladesh Awami League on Monday held separate meetings with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda and General Secretary Vinod Tawde in New Delhi.
Awami League Presidium member and Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque, Joint General Secretary and Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Organizing Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Central Working Committee member Marina Jahan Kabita and Reserved Women's Constituency MP Aroma Dutta held a meeting with BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence on Monday afternoon.
At the invitation of the BJP, the visiting party leaders then held talks with party general secretary Vinod Tawde at the BJP headquarters, reads a press release.
During the cordial meeting, regional cooperation, counter-militancy and political stability were discussed with special importance among bilateral and multilateral issues.
