The ambassador replied to the minister that the Swedish government has apologized and arrested the person who committed the act.

Earlier, Bangladesh Tarikat Federation Chairman Syed Najibul Bashar Maizbhandari stood at the point of order and condemned and protested the incident of burning Quran in Sweden. He called the ambassador of Sweden and demanded to protest this incident.

Syed Najibul Bashar said that the European Union, England, and the Western world under the freedom of religion are supervised by various government and semi-government organizations all over the world. If necessary, it also creates pressure on the governments of different countries. The pressure is always on Asia.

The foreign ministry on Sunday summoned Jakob Etaat, chargé d'affaires of the Swedish embassy in Dhaka, to protest the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran outside a mosque in Stockholm.
