The Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh has distributed meat to 720 families for the Eid ul-Azha celebration.
The embassy said on Sunday that they distributed meat at 12 sites in the last 3 days, in conjunction with this year's Eid-ul-Azha.
A total of 12 cows were sacrificed for the purpose, with the meat being divided and delivered to families in Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Khulna, and Rangpur.
The Association of Bangladesh China Alumni (ABCA) and Impact Initiative co-organized the donation, the embassy said in a statement.
