The United States has said it wants to advance its relations with Bangladesh.
"The United States maintains a broad and deep relationship with Bangladesh that we seek to advance," UNB on Sunday reported an official at the US Embassy in Dhaka as saying.
The response came when the US embassy's attention was drawn to a media report that claimed more US sanctions could be coming.
