Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received a courtesy call from Akihiko Tanaka, president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica), on Wednesday.
The Jica chief met Sheikh Hasina at Tokyo Akasaka Palace State Guest House in Japan.
Fumiya Kokubu, chairman of the Bangladesh-Japan Committee for Economic Cooperation, and Ishiguru Norihiko, chairman and CEO of the Japan External Trade Organization (Jetro), both paid courtesy visits to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the same location.
The prime minister arrived in Japan on a four-day visit on Tuesday.
A Biman VVIP flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage landed at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo on Tuesday afternoon.
