IndiGo airlines launched their direct flights from Dhaka to Mumbai on Sunday.
The flight was launched due to the high demand for this route as well as the destinations that it connects, said a notice issued by the airlines.
The airlines will operate 4 direct flights to Mumbai on this route.
IndiGo now connects Dhaka to Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, and will overall operate 27 flights from Dhaka.
IndiGo airlines, which is arguably India's biggest airline (with 57% market share in the domestic sector) currently operates to 26 international destinations as well as 74 destinations in India.
As India is the most travelled destination for tourists from Bangladesh, these flights offer an affordable and convenient means to travel.
