India and Bangladesh share brotherly relations and it will only grow further, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said.
He was addressing the opening ceremony of the BGB-BSF joint retreat parade at Banglabandha Zero Point in Tetulia upazila of Panchagarh on Thursday.
Recalling India’s assistance during the Liberation War, the minister said New Delhi had been supporting Dhaka as a true friend.
Bangladesh had also received significant support from the Border Security Force of India, he added.
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, visa issuance on the Banglabandha-Fulbari route is suspended. After discussions between the two countries, I will arrange for visas to be issued very soon.”
He thanked the BGB and the BSF contingents for displaying a mesmerizing parade.
