Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has left Dhaka after wrapping up his two-day official visit to attend the celebrations of the country's golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
"An Emirates Airlines flight, on boarding the Maldivian president along with his wife Fazna Ahmed and other entourage members, took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1am on Friday," a spokesperson of Foreign Ministry told BSS.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen saw the Maldivian president off at the airport, he added.

Earlier, the red carpet was rolled out as Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Solih became the first among the world leaders to attend the celebrations of the golden jubilee of country's independence and the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
During his visit, he had bilateral talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and meeting with President Md Abdul Hamid.
