Indian Navy hands over rescued Bangladeshis at Chittagong port

An Indian Navy ship has handed over the 33 Bangladeshis rescued from the sea. The INS Sumitra rescued the victims floating adrift in the Bay of Bengal on Wednesday. The rescued were washed into the sea by Cyclone Mora when it passed over Bangladesh.
On Thursday morning, INS Sumitra dropped anchor at Chittagong port and formally handed over the rescued to Bangladesh Navy in the presence of Harsh V Shringla, the Indian ambassador to Bangladesh.

The navy ship was carrying relief supplies when they came across the survivors and a dead body.
