Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das has visited Tungipara, Gopalganj to pay tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Laying a wreath at Bangabandhu’s mausoleum, the high commissioner on Monday recalled the contribution and sacrifice made by Bangabandhu for the Liberation of Bangladesh, reports UNB.
Her visit came at the beginning of Mujib Barsho (2020), marking the birth centenary of the father of the nation.
