Sri Lankan warships "SLNS Sayura" and "SLNS Nandimithra" have reached Bangladesh on an official visit.
The warships reached Chittagong port on Monday morning on a four day official visit, said a press release on Monday.
Chittagong Navy Chief Staff Officer Captain M Abdus Samad welcomed the warships which are part of the Sri Lanka Navy.
There are 247 staff members on both the warships.
Captain Nilantha Hewavitharane and Captain Buddhika Liyanagamage are both working as captains of "SLNS Sayura" and "SLNS Nandimithra".
Commander of Chittagong Naval area, Commander of BN fleet and Chairman of Chittagong port will have a meeting with captains of both the warships while they are stationed in Bangladesh.
The two warships will leave Bangladesh on August 29, ending the four day official visit.
