“The assurance came after I met Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso during a six-day visit to Japan,” the minister told the media at a press briefing on Sunday.
The Japanese are still maintaining a high degree of caution for visiting Bangladesh, though the law and order situation has improved since the gruesome attack on Holey Artisan Bakery in Gulshan.
A team of officials led by Finance Minister AMA Muhith visited Tokyo last week to assure them of foolproof security in Bangladesh.
They informed the Japan government about the improvement of law and order situation in Bangladesh.
