Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made the disclosure at a discussion at Dhaka Mohila Polytechnic Institute (DMPI) at Agargaon, Dhaka on Friday.
“For the time being, we will take care of the Rohingyas who have already crossed the border and entered Bangladesh, and send them back after the instability once subsides on the other side of the border,” Kamal said.

He said border guards of both the countries are alert in this regard.
Observing that the current government is women-friendly and believes in women empowerment, he said: “The first female superintendents of police has been posted in two districts during this government’s tenure, paving the way to appointing females in higher positions in other forces including the BGB.
The minister said the Awami League government increased the country’s electricity production up to 15,000MW and it would be 20,000MW soon. Our PM works hard up to 18 hours a day to make Bangladesh a developed country by 2041.
Besides, two memorandums of understanding (MoU) were signed between the Dhaka Metropolitan Police and business firms Creative IT Limited and Rainbow Limited for providing IT training to Dhaka Mohila Polytechnic Institute (DMPI) pupils, he said.

Kamal was speaking at the discussion programme titled “Skill and training development project.”
Mustafa Jabbar, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), presented a paper titled “Technical education system and IT.”
Showing statistics and information through PowerPoint presentation, Jabbar said only 16% people of Bangladesh who are not engaged in agricultural production contribute 84% of the total GDP.
He said even in the whole world's 50% GDP comes from knowledge producing, creativity and IT.

Observing that the era of paper-based education has ended elsewhere in the world, He said: “Bangladesh is lagging behind in using technology in all sectors especially in education.”
Stressing reformation of the whole education system, he said: “We have to introduce modern technology in education system in accordance with the demand of job opportunity. We have to digitalise primary level education immediately.”
Among others, Dr Md Mostafizur Rahman, chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board, and KM Hassan Ripon of Jobsbd.com also spoke at the function.
