The government has decided to appoint Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Humayun Kabir as the next Bangladesh high commissioner to Kenya.
Major General Humayun Kabir joined Bangladesh Army on December 21 in 1980, according to a foreign ministry press release.
In his long illustrated career, he had served as the chairman, Sena Kalyan Sangstha; military secretary to the President; vice chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals; chief of doctrine, Army Training and Doctrine Command; general staff officer first grade and also as the chief of operations, BANBAT 1, UN Mission in the Mozambique.
