People across the country have chalked out plans to celebrate the first day of Bangla New Year 1431, starting with the Mongol Shobhajatra. The celebrations cover the farewell of the outgoing year and welcoming the New Year through colourful Mongol Shobhajatra, cultural performances, sightseeing and roaming around with friends and families.
Students at Dhaka University Faculty of Fine Art are taking preparation to celebrate the Pohela Boishakh, the first day of the Bengali New Year.
