Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Sheikh Rabiul Alam has been elected from the Dhaka-10 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.
Returning Officer Sharaf Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury announced the result at the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner’s office on Friday morning.
According to the official announcement, Sheikh Rabiul Alam secured 80,436 votes with the paddy sheaf symbol. His nearest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Jasim Uddin Sarkar, received 77,136 votes with the scales symbol.
