The National Citizen Party (NCP) will release its election theme song, Madur Pete, ahead of the 13th national parliamentary election.
The song will be launched at a program scheduled for 5pm on Saturday in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh, Dhaka.
The information was confirmed in a message sent on Friday night by Yasir Arafat, media secretary of the NCP’s central election management committee.
Meanwhile, the NCP has announced a 12-day election march to seek votes for its Shapla Kali electoral symbol. During the march, party leaders will also campaign for candidates of the 10-party alliance and for a “Yes” vote in the referendum.
According to the party, the march will begin in Chittagong on Sunday and cover 24 districts before concluding in Dhaka on February 5. The NCP has also announced the names of its representatives in 238 constituencies.
